Kurt, the host, lived up to his expectation by greeting us not only at the time of arrival, but also before that. On arrival, which was late in the night, Kurt greeted us warmly and guided us on Safari. The dinner served by him was not only delicious, it rather was carefully selected by Kurt, according to our needs. The breakfast served the following morning was delicious. Thank you Kurt. This is the best place to stay at, near Kruger.

The service was 100% excellent, on our way we got lost Kurt thank you so much for guiding till we get there so patiently. The welcoming, giving us the information about the place since it was our first visit in Mpumalanga, oh I cannot forget the breakfast and dinner you served, wow so excellent and very delicious. No reason at all to stop me from recomending this place to my friends and looking forwad to come and spend at least a week. 'Keep up the good work' with the very friendly staff. To Kurt we really had a good time at Mohololo...

Home from home with a fireplace and views over the bush and mountains. Kirt. Lynn, Karl and Nola are lovely hosts andcan Kirt cook. Will visit again.

The hotel is situated beautiful in a valley 150 meter below the road. Staff is really friendly and gave excellent advice on where to go in the Kruger park. Although partly luck, it got me to see the Lions and Leopard. If you want to leave for a sunrise safari they will make a take away breakfast for you. Also convenient: late check-in (until 23.00), which is perfect if you make your trip from Johannesburg leaving in the late afternoon. Rooms are basic, spacious and clean, with aircon or heater.

Gorgeous lodge in beautiful bush land. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Loved it and would definitely go again.

Excellent service, very friendly staff, very relaxed place

The place is gorgeous, surrounded by a huge banana plantation, filled with wildlife around (in hiding fortunately). Very quiet and peaceful. The owner was a great host, and he himself cooked some brownies for us. It is only unfortunate we stayed so short.

It is addictive to stay here, you want to stay more.

I really enjoyed the hospitality by the managers and the cleanliness of the roon.

It was difficult to find at night.

Lovely setting, nice swiiming pool, handy for Kruger.

Roof leaked severely in our room during a thunderstorm in the night so I woke up with water splashing onto my bedside table and the bed. Proprietor did not seem to think it mattered too much! Shower head was broken, hairdryer was broken. Long way from anywhere (very long drive off the road), which could have been very peaceful and pleasant but the property was just poorly maintained.

We stayed in a beautiful lodge, nicely designed and well equipped. The lodge is situated in an exotic garden. The personnel is exceptionnaly friendly and helpful, we came in late and the owner prepared a very nice dinner for us.

I found the owner very accomodating, plus he has a vast knowledge of the area. He recommended the Pioneer butcher and grill, well what a pleasure.

The lack of an air conditioner meant a rather hot night.

The rooms are excellent, the food really very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.
